Gallery Exhibition: June – July

An invitation for Where the WIld Things Are Plein Air Event to all painters in the Danville Arts Council and the Lewisburg Arts Council/Guild. Reserve the date, Saturday, May 16 with a back up rain date of May 23. Participants will be asked to sign a release upon arrival and there are no fees associated with this opportunity.

The Danville Arts Council will showcase works from any participating artists in a Where the Wild Things Are Plein Air Exhibition at the Danville Arts Council Gallery for the months of June and July, 2020.
​
There are 140 acres of mostly Conservation Reserve land that is rich with wildlife, tall grass fields, wooded areas, 5 acres of wetlands, small herd of cattle, flock of chicken, and, we hope, sunny skies.
​
RSVP by May 1 to reserve your spot. Those who RSVP will be emailed directions to the property and where to park, a map of the property, and a list of what we recommend you bring. There will be a portajohn on the property, water bottles for drinking, and water for your paints.
​
The event is free with ample road parking and a barn floor area for those who would not do well in the direct sun or wind and would prefer a roof over their head.
​
Participants are welcome from 8am until dark.

No smoking on property! Please pick up all trash and personal belongings and respect the owners property!
